  1. Igor automatically opens help files in this folder when it starts up.
  2. You can drag help files into and out of this folder and restart Igor
  3. to change the set of automatically loaded files.

  5. The following help files are used by Igor to basic help and should
  6. normally be left in the folder:
  7.     “Using Igor”
  8.     “Igor Reference”
  9.  
  10. If there are help files that you want to look at occasionally,
  11. don’t put them in here. Instead, double-click them from the
  12. Finder or open them using the ‘Open File’ submenu in Igor’s
  13. File menu.
